I would love to talk to you about salvation and Jesus Christ. In this complex media driven world, there is one most important message I wish every one should know that is about Jesus Christ and salvation.
Everything has a starting point. Our life, relationship, education, career, family and even faith. The starting point of salvation is faith in Jesus Christ. What is faith? Do we have faith? Every one in this world live with faith. I have a faith when I travel in the flight that, it will take me to certain destination. I have a faith when I am in a traffic signal, everyone will stop on the red signal light. I have the faith in my doctor who treats me. Some people are dominated or live with positive faith and while other live or dominated by negative faith.
Today we live in a world of uncertainty, confusion, war and terrorism. Deep inside of every human mind or soul there is an uncertainty and there is a deep desire for connectivity. In this post modern scientific world even though we have every means for connectivity we are disconnected within our soul. What is our soul or how will one understand human soul. Soul is some total of our mind, will and emotions. When you have positive control over your soul, that is when you have positive control over your life.
Human will is the most powerful and the only thing that is not controlled by God. It is also called free will. I have control over your body because you are here watching this video. Human even has the power to choose against God. Repetition is dangerous. It will take control over our unconscious, the repetitive behavior will create very legible behavior patterns. You are some total of your choices. Winning our body is easy, winning our spirit is easy but winning our soul is hard. The soul receives messages through your senses and deposit it in your spirit.
Some one said Christianity means "falling down and getting up". Jesus made the salvation an easy process. God said it and I believe it and it settles it. I have seen some of my Indian friends working hard towards salvation or Nirvana. To be free from the cycle of birth through doing good karma or good deeds. Sacrificing, torturing their body, fasting, visiting holy places, climbing the mountains.
The major difference between Christianity and other religions are the aspect of GRACE. Unmerited favor from God. Jesus is so unique and there is nothing that can be compared with grace and Jesus Christ. First of all, Jesus is the fulfillment of the prophecy from the Hebrew scriptures. Some one did a study about the Hebrew prophecy and said there were 366 prophecies fulfilled in the person Jesus Christ. There are 40-50 prophecies fulfilled concerning the birth of Jesus Christ. Out of 366 the probability of 8 fulfilled prophecy is one out of a million.
I have seen the truth seekers. Let me tell you my friends, you will never know God without Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way for us to be forgiven with our sins. Christ is our righteousness.
John 1: 1,2 we read it In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word here refers to Jesus Christ. Jesus said to Philip one of his disciples, HE who has seen ME has seen the father in Heaven. The apostolic proclamation is that…. We have seen with our eyes,we have heard with our ears and we have touched with our hands. Confess with your mouth, believe in your heart and thou shall be saved. Whoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. It is multi dimensional, It has past, present and future significance. The truth is jesus Christ. He is the alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
Paul in ACTS: 17: 28 says: ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. I invite you to try Jesus. Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who trust in Him.
